“The Vikings Junior Rugby Union U14’s Team toured the North Island of New Zealand in July. The whole tour was an amazing experience that the boys will treasure for the rest of their lives, and while there were many highlights, the biggest one without doubt, was our visit to Katikati. The staff and students of Katikati School put on an awesome show, welcoming us with a Powhiri which included our group being sung into the school’s Marae and then delivering a welcome speech, along with the most incredible Haka! Our boys were very moved by the whole experience and were on tenterhooks prior to running on to the field for their game. During the course of the game, students from the school sang and performed a Haka on the sideline adding to the already electric atmosphere and making it a very entertaining game. Afterwards the school held a post-match function, giving the boys the opportunity to mingle and make friends with their rivals. It was a day that will never be forgotten and would not have been possible without RTI’s dedication and willingness to ensure their groups “Tour Like Never Before””
“Our Greatest Adventure
In my role as head of rugby at Cranbrook school in Sydney we have been using Tour Time since 2011 as our primary tour operator.
They have operated trips for us to New Zealand in 2011, Argentina and Uruguay in 2013 and New Zealand again in 2015. They also took 80 of our students on a rugby and football tour to USA in April.
Over the last five years I have found them to be extremely professional both before and during tours. During the planning stages they are always efficient with communication and make it clear that their priority is quality and safety rather than the cheapest option.
While this is easy to say I can assure you it is translated into the itineraries they put together. I feel very much at ease with the level of personal service we receive and having a tour manager with you is something not all companies in the industry offer but one that ensures the smooth operation of the trip.
Our greatest adventure with Tour Time was definitely with 37 students to Argentina and Uruguay in 2013 for 18 days. It turned out to be an amazing trip made possible through the hard work and planning of Tour Time over 18 months. Personally I appreciate the fact it is a family company and this is quite clear when communicating with Brent that this is more than a job to him. He takes great pride in the company and the product it delivers.
